Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum error correction algorithms for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for enterprise clients
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap qubit technologies
- Strong background in complex system integration and scaling
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies preferred
