Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Partner with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on quantum security protocols
- Drive R&D initiatives for room-temperature quantum processors
- Present breakthrough findings at premier quantum conferences (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers and publish in Nature Physics/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Publication record in high-impact quantum journals
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
