Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Drive quantum software development frameworks for enterprise applications
- Present quantum solutions to Fortune 500 clients and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware: superconducting, trapped ions, or photonic systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Experience leading quantum computing teams in R&D environments
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
