Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world business problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical interfaces
- Research novel quantum materials and topological qubit implementations
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen data encryption
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or implementation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into functional prototypes
- Ability to secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants
