Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale problems
- Collaborate with cryptographers to build post-quantum security protocols
- Optimize quantum circuit performance on real hardware platforms
- Translate theoretical models into executable quantum code using Qiskit and Cirq
- Lead quantum algorithm validation through simulation and hardware testing
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions and Nature Quantum Information
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, Q#, Python with quantum libraries)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and error correction
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity theory
