Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing neural network architectures optimized for quantum processors
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature/Science journals and top-tier AI conferences
- Prototype climate modeling solutions using quantum-enhanced data processing techniques
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (2020-2026 graduates preferred)
- Published research in Nature/Science or NeurIPS/ICML proceedings
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction protocols
- Proven track record of commercializing AI/quantum technologies
- Strong background in high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Experience with federated learning for distributed quantum systems
