Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in various Nashville neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as directed
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and communicate with owners via app
- Transport pets to vet appointments and grooming sessions
- Execute emergency protocols and basic first aid when needed
- Perform home visits for pet sitting services
- Attend monthly training sessions on animal behavior and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Reliable vehicle with pet-safe equipment (crate, harnesses)
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Background check and drug test required
