Responsibilities
- Provide daily walking, playing, and exercise for dogs of all breeds and sizes in the Colorado Springs area.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes and report them immediately to the owner or management.
- Administer prescribed medications or supplements according to specific instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of walks, feeding schedules, and any observations made during visits.
- Ensure the safety of the pets by adhering to leash laws and proper safety protocols during walks.
- Practice excellent communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos via our mobile app.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dog walker or pet sitter is preferred but not required; a genuine love for animals is essential.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle energetic dogs.
- Must pass a background check and a pet temperament test.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
