Responsibilities
- Exercise & Play: Safely walk and play with dogs of various breeds and sizes to ensure physical health and mental stimulation.
- Maintenance: Immediately clean up waste and maintain a clean environment for both the pets and the owner's property.
- Communication: Provide daily updates to pet owners via text or app regarding the dog's mood, bathroom habits, and overall well-being.
- Feeding & Care: Administer prescribed medications and food according to the owner's specific instructions.
- Safety: Ensure the safety of the dog at all times, including proper leash handling and monitoring for signs of distress.
- Client Relations: Build trust with clients by arriving on time and treating their pets with the utmost respect and care.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience walking dogs or working in a pet care setting is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to adhere to a consistent schedule.
- Licensing: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Health: Must be physically fit to handle dogs of various sizes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and proficiency with mobile messaging apps.
