Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor immediately upon arrival.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver orders efficiently and ensure guest satisfaction by checking back during the meal.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately, process payments, and manage cash tips.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Upsell menu items and suggest beverages to enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a high-volume customer service role preferred.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods while serving guests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record with availability for evenings and weekends.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and splitting bills accurately.
