Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently.
- Take Orders: Expertly take food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy and up-selling specials.
- Serve & Buss Tables: Deliver orders promptly, ensure table cleanliness, and refill drinks throughout the dining experience.
- Handle Payments: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
- Upsell & Promote: Knowledgeably describe menu items, daily specials, and wine pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Resolve Issues: Address guest concerns immediately and escalate to management when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining room and bar area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Server, Waitstaff, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not required (training available).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate a busy restaurant environment.
- Alcohol Awareness: Must be of legal drinking age and hold a current Food Handler's and Alcohol Awareness certification.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
