Responsibilities
- Greet guests immediately upon arrival with a warm, welcoming demeanor and establish a rapport.
- Present menus and offer detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
- Deliver orders efficiently, ensuring proper timing and temperature presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs, proactively refilling water glasses and clearing tables to maintain a pristine dining environment.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with grace and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and securely, including managing various tipping scenarios.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to converse fluently in English.
- Familiarity with standard POS systems and tablet-based ordering technology.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Food Handler’s card.
- Clean background check required.
