Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons warmly and escort them to their tables with a smile.
- Take Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Service Excellence: Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Cash Handling: Process payments efficiently and handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining area, including setting tables and clearing plates during service.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the kitchen and the dining room to resolve any issues swiftly.
- Upselling: Suggest beverages and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays up to 25 lbs.
- Attitude: A positive, friendly demeanor and a genuine desire to serve others.
