Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of specials and daily offerings to patrons.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Deliver orders to tables with precision, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs by refilling drinks and checking in during the meal.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions with integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized service station and dining area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a high energy level.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in Alcohol Awareness (e.g., TIPS) is required.
