Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them promptly based on reservation or waitlist.
- Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage items, and answer any questions.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages, ensuring proper timing and presentation.
- Clean and reset tables efficiently between courses and throughout the dining room.
- Handle cash transactions and process credit cards accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant server experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail menus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to obtain a food handler's card.
