As a server, you are the heartbeat of our restaurant. You will be responsible for guiding our guests through an unforgettable culinary journey, ensuring every detail is perfect from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables with a smile, providing menus and drink specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, ingredients, and wine pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or special requests to ensure a 5-star experience.
- Clean and sanitize tables and service stations between seatings to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Cash out checks accurately, process payments securely, and manage tip distribution responsibly.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business volume.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with POS systems is a plus.
