Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests to The Waterfront Grille in a warm and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about ingredients and preparation.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment throughout the service.
- Upsell products to enhance the guest experience and achieve revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a high-volume dining environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer navigation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
