As a Server, you are the face of our restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome customers warmly, manage wait times efficiently, and escort them to their tables.
- Take Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using POS systems.
- Service: Serve food and drinks according to established plating and presentation standards.
- Upselling: Recommend daily specials, appetizers, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Payment Handling: Process guest checks accurately and handle cash and credit transactions with integrity.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining environment by resetting tables and cleaning service areas promptly.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the floor manager and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Hygiene: Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Permits: Valid Food Handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
