Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed into our dining room.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Deliver orders promptly, ensuring quality standards and presentation are met.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to resolve any service issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings and menu details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-6 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid food handler's permit.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
