Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover.
- Present menus, answer detailed questions about menu items, and make personalized recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Deliver orders with precision and check back on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions with responsibility.
- Maintain a pristine dining environment, including cleaning tables and resetting service stations.
- Upsell menu items and beverage specials to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Knowledge of local food safety regulations and alcohol service laws.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
