Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly and courteously.
- Process payments accurately and securely using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables and clearing plates.
- Cash out shifts accurately and adhere to all cash handling policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on active listening.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate tipping and cash handling.
- Willingness to complete any required food safety or alcohol service certifications.
