Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks with precision, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular patrons.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in using restaurant POS software (e.g., Toast, Micros).
- Must be 18 years or older and have a valid food handler's card.
