Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons warmly upon arrival, manage seating arrangements, and provide menus with an enthusiastic introduction to our specials.
- Take and Serve Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Provide Menu Expertise: Offer detailed descriptions of dishes, ingredients, and wine pairings to assist guests in making informed decisions.
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate guest needs, promptly address any concerns, and ensure a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
- Handle Payments: Process transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and prepare itemized checks.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area and service station organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage in conversation with diverse guests.
- Alcohol Awareness: Must be of legal drinking age and possess a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, carry heavy trays, and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Availability: Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professionalism: High standard of grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct.
- POS Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
