Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
- Present menus and answer detailed questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks with speed and precision, ensuring proper plating and presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions with integrity.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine, or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods, including lifting trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
