Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, performance, and uptime to ensure 99.9% availability.
- Perform routine maintenance, including updates, patching, and security configurations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues affecting server operations.
- Assist with database backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to implement scalable solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system logs.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Valid CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
