Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to guests while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Accurately take and process food/drink orders using our POS system
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery
- Manage section cleanliness and table turnover efficiency
- Upsell specials and high-margin menu items
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant/server experience strongly preferred
- Must be 18+ years old and TIPS certified
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of wine/beer basics a plus
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass background check and food safety training
- Valid Massachusetts Food Handler's License
