Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive table service with knowledge of seasonal menu and wine pairings
- Process orders accurately using POS systems while maintaining seamless table turnover
- Upsell premium menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and special requests
- Reset and maintain dining area cleanliness to uphold premium standards
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and ongoing training initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred
- Proven ability to multitask in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Excellent communication skills with polished guest interaction abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency (Toast, Micros, or similar)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Massachusetts Alcohol Server Certification (TIPS certification a plus)
