Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, providing menus and explaining any daily specials.
- Present food and beverage items with accuracy, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Take accurate orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and offer refills.
- Process payments efficiently, handle cash and card transactions, and accurately balance the register.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and side stations throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar food service role is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be 18 years or older and have valid work authorization.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
