Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Perform vital sign measurements and EKG screenings
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient education materials for night-shift visits
- Collaborate with overnight nursing staff for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced setting
- Strong familiarity with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication skills across diverse populations
- Flexibility to work 3-4 night shifts weekly (10 pm - 6 am)
