Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for treatment
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up care
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility for weekend and holiday coverage
- Pass background check and drug screening
