Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient support including vital sign monitoring, mobility assistance, and comfort measures
- Accurately document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain clean, organized patient areas and medical supply inventory
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or relevant clinical training
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work evenings (4 PM - 12 AM) and weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with healthcare documentation systems
