Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care during evening and weekend shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Prepare and maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or direct patient care experience
- Availability for evening shifts (3PM-11PM) and weekend shifts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
