Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assisted living and home health settings
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per physician orders
- Document patient observations and care activities in EMR systems
- Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Availability for evening shifts (3PM-11PM) and weekends
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Background clearance and TB test results
