Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist clients via phone, email, and chat to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and update technical support tickets accurately in our CRM system.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, Wi-Fi problems, and peripheral malfunctions.
- User Education: Guide customers through best practices for software security and usage.
- After-Hours Coverage: Manage support queues during evening shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or similar).
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the daytime support team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus).
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service or technical support is highly preferred; however, we welcome motivated students with relevant coursework.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Windows and macOS operating systems; basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a patient and professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be available to work evening shifts and weekends as required.
