Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital monitoring, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene support
- Accurately document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA or EMT certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with basic medical equipment and documentation systems
- Flexibility to work rotating evening/weekend shifts
