Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during evening/night shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Respond to after-hours patient inquiries and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Availability to work evenings (4pm-12am) and weekends
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Ohio state license in good standing
