Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and administer medications under supervision
- Perform vital signs and basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and check-in/out processes
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Florida Medical Assistant certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
