Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering their inquiries regarding services and promotions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked with inventory.
- Operate store equipment, including registers and scanners, following all operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15-25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn POS systems quickly.
- Reliable transportation and a positive, can-do attitude.
