Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, following strict recipes.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, dining area, and restrooms.
- Handle cash transactions and process credit/debit payments accurately.
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary.
- Participate in store inventory management and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
