Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality beverages, including espresso drinks, cold brews, and specialty coffees.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines and food preparation protocols.
- Engage with customers to learn their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and cleanliness.
