Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages according to company recipes
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warm, personalized interactions
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
- Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Uphold strict sanitation standards and maintain a pristine workspace
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless service flow
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation of coffee beans and supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or food service experience required
- Proficient in espresso extraction techniques and milk steaming
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Basic knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and coffee craftsmanship
