Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations during the evening shift, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for all guests.
- Perform nightly financial reconciliations, including balancing cash drawers, verifying credit card transactions, and preparing daily reports.
- Maintain high standards of security and building safety through regular facility inspections and key control procedures.
- Resolve complex guest inquiries and complaints with a focus on high-conversion service recovery and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with day-shift management to ensure a smooth transition of operations and continuity of service.
- Monitor and update property management systems (PMS) in real-time to reflect accurate room status and guest information.
- Assist in training junior staff on proper check-in procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality or front desk experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying evening schedules, including weekends and holidays.
