Responsibilities
- Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them promptly to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Order Management: Accurately take and transmit food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar team.
- Service Delivery: Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Upselling: Proactively suggest specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues with grace and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Attitude: A positive, guest-centric attitude with a focus on hospitality.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Compliance: Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain a Food Handler's card.
