Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen/bar staff, and ensure timely delivery.
- Upsell specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining floor and service stations throughout the shift.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and draft beer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Valid Food Handler's card or ability to obtain one.
