Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in EMR systems
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams during shift transitions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Current CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
- Availability for weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) 11 PM - 7 AM
