Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, mobility, and medication administration
- Respond to patient calls and emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare or patient care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work weekends and flexible evening shifts (3rd shift)
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
