Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise groups of 2-4 dogs on neighborhood trails and parks
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed client records and service logs
- Transport pets to/from appointments using company vehicles
- Execute emergency protocols for animal incidents or weather hazards
- Upsell premium services (grooming, boarding) to existing clients
- Participate in monthly safety and service training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Knowledge of Colorado Springs' pet-friendly areas
- Background check and drug screening required
