Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs individually or in small groups (2-3 dogs) in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Monitor pets' behavior, health, and safety during walks, noting any concerns in client reports
- Administer medications (with proper training) and provide basic care as requested by pet owners
- Maintain clean and organized equipment (leashes, waste bags, water bowls) between walks
- Utilize our mobile app for real-time scheduling, client communication, and GPS tracking
- Build trust with clients through punctuality, professionalism, and detailed post-walk updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality with flexible availability
- Strong observational skills to detect signs of distress or medical issues
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and report writing
- Physical ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
