Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated areas using provided equipment
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks
- Maintain detailed walk reports and client communication
- Clean and maintain provided gear after each use
- Adapt routes based on weather and pet needs
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
- Provide basic care (water, breaks) as needed
- Represent Paws & Play with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience handling dogs of various sizes/temperaments
- Ability to walk up to 6 dogs simultaneously (training provided)
- Knowledge of pet first aid/CPR (certification preferred)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor activity
- Trustworthy background check required
- Passion for animal welfare and client service
