Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated San Diego neighborhoods (La Jolla, Pacific Beach, North Park)
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and client communication via our mobile app
- Transport pets to vet appointments or playdates using company vehicles
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during off-leash and group walks
- Build trust with clients through reliable, punctual service
- Report any health or behavioral concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Trustworthy background check required
- Must own reliable smartphone with data plan
- Knowledge of San Diego geography and pet-friendly routes
